Disclaimer

Well, it’s official. I have started a blog. I have to say I’ve never really been into blogs and I certainly never intended to write one. I tend think they are narcissistic and often annoying (my dear sister’s blog excluded, that was awesome) but after being in Manila for only one full day I have decided that I need to blog for a few reasons. One, there is so much going on here that I need to share it with my friends and family on a day-to-day basis or I will never remember all of this adventure. Two, I think the Philippines is a place that one needs to process and I tend to do that through writing. Three, this will be a great record of my time here. So, I hope this keeps everyone I love updated and also helps to teach a bit about this strange country. I am also hoping I will be dedicated about keeping this up because I think it could be a lot to stay on top of once I start teaching. So, thanks for reading…love and miss everyone already!
